I've grouped these because I really wouldn't mind having historical or history-inspired (or, to an extent, alternate-historical) AUs for these Sith pairings. If you want to have emotionally charged philosophical or ideological discussions, go on here! (btw, if you want to kind of chain any of the ones that are vaguely in the same era into a polycule, this is okay, and again I'm fine with ace/aro and trans including nonbinary portrayals.)
Palpatine/Dooku: I, a humble Palpatine enthusiast, once went "huh, that would be an interesting relationship, if one supposed to be haunted by doom" Look, they could be kind of like the evil version of Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen's old man friendship, albeit fraught with the tension of betrayals... I just really like the idea of them being friends committing treason against the republic and getting very close. Note: I do much prefer that their relative ages be more similar to those of Ian McDiarmid and Christopher Lee; give or take a few years is fine, but unless you're really mangling the chronology please don't have Qui-Gon significantly older than Palpatine
Dooku/Tarkin: I have no preconceptions here, but Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were apparently friends, including getting put out of a theater for laughing too much at Looney Tunes. Also, they both acted in some old horror movies and Holmes movies. However you want to run with this...? Including sort-of enemies (due to the Separatist faction) to friends to ...lovers?
Dooku/Grievous: I picked this up from an online friend and... really fleshing out the idea of a warrior turned mercenary who is very mad at Jedi actions affecting a conflict on their home turf in relationship to an ex-Jedi...parallels have been drawn to Afghanistan. Also I tend to like robots and cyborgs and all that jazz. If you also want to address the San Hill thing with Grievous well, that's okay.
Damask/Palpatine: okay, so major DNW on this one: noncon, or dubcon proceeding from the Sith relationship (dubcon removed a level, from emotional turmoil about whether to enter additionally into a physical relationship, is ok.) Also DNW: lusting objectification (as in "Oh, he'd be a good lay. I can just imagine [explicit details]")
Frankly I'm as satisfied with both as ace. I'm otherwise inclined to bi Plagueis who is a service vers, and I think Palpatine is at most gray-ro and probably not completely gay. I don't generally like Freudian anything, but if you want to put in something about ~Oedipal subtext, that's fine. For some reason the Koba quote (see my letter) strikes me here, and it would be interesting to play up the notion in the book I got it from that, in fact the association was much exaggerated, and the supposed ~mentee wasn't around that much for the accomplishments of the mentor. Another inspiration option: the Academy at Athens painting!
Revan/Bastila Shan: ...I've only ever read the Revan novel and some fics here, but you can do what you like here. Historical AUs might be fun, or even... (shocker) a Vulcan/Romulan faction switch thing in a Star Trek AU? Pairing specific DNW: No cis-man Revan, please. Any other gender option is fine. (this is not a prohibition of AMAB Revan, either)

I'd especially love an exploration of non cis-hetero-allo-normativity (ahem: queerplatonic pairing!) with the droid-ship, and I DNW droid sex here. If you want to have them meet some other droids or electric people, that would be fine with me. (a few ideas: Data (ST:TNG), the Emergency Medical Hologram(ST:VOY), Transformers (most familiar with Rescue Bots, also know some of the Prime that's been on Netflix recently, and ditto the Robots in Disguise), robots on Phineas and Ferb...) Re Obi-Wan Kenobi:
I don't wholeheartedly love Obi-Wan, and it's mostly for how he deals with being asked to choose between principals I cannot believe are well-examined (indoctrinated from childhood!) and his best friend, who admittedly started committing atrocities and having major emotional instabilities... And then he lies to said friend's son...
Anyway, I don't really want things to immediately be sunshine and roses, but why would I, the devotee of Sith redemption, preclude redemption for Jedi? So I think, whether you put him on the desert of Tatooine, or the pleasantly planted world of Alderaan, he's going to have to confront some of his beliefs in addition to working through his grief. Y'know, if you want to put him in therapy, that's okay. I love canon-divergence, so it doesn't matter if he isn't going to want to lie to Luke or say his certain lines to Vader like in the OT...
(also I love my headcanon that Obi-Wan is aroace, and if you want to write trans-Obi-Wan, or trans Skywalker kids, or heck, trans members of the Lars or Organa couples, that would be fine!)

Jinn/Palpatine: ah, the slightly renegade Jedi, and the Sith pretending to be hugely invested in the Republic... One very light (my favorite always-Jedi, in fact, for all I admit he has erred, and his competition is his teacher Dooku), one dark. How does Jinn's upbringing among the Jedi compare to Palpatine's undesirable family environment? It's my belief that Jinn would be willing to leave the Jedi, especially if that meant following Dooku, in the interest of adhering more to what is Right. You could perhaps do a Palpatine redemption AU here? Oh and my own headcanon is they're both aroace so feel free to do that if you like. (obviously that doesn't equate to inability to love!)
DNW: Palpatine younger than Jinn (the canon ages are preposterous and unless you choose to outright mess with the chronology, perhaps even by invoking time travel, basing this on their actors' relative ages makes far far more visual sense)
Palpatine/Mace: by rights perhaps this should be Palpatine/the Republic!/Mace Windu, and I only became interested in this after reading a particular fic that plays up that aspect (at this point I will stick the link in my letter sometime soon). But of course... Palpatine is not exactly all that interested in the Republic except that he must pretend to be. There's also the Mace-getting-close-to-the-dark-side connection. Perhaps this could resemble Grantaire/Enjolras (Les Miserables), although there is some pretense from Palpatine's side about his interest in the republic, which either enormously complicates an Enjolras (Palpatine being beautiful and capable of being terrible, almost like Galadriel in the LOTR movies, is great, though) and is an additional layer of pretense for a Grantaire. Or Marius paired with either of them. Would much prefer lead-up to a ship type stuff here.

Did you read Darth Plagueis? Or are you simply curious about the environments from which the Sith in it came?
Here's your time to get creative about Sith parents, and, in one case, an actual Sith.
(if you are having trouble with names here, the ones I came up with and use are: Hego's mom: Tema; Caar's first wife: Sina; Mrs/Lady Palpatine: Amara (now in a separate request as I had too much to say for both to fit in one))
The idea for Caar/Caar's first wife/Hego's mom is kinda that his wives decide that a relationship between them is as or more interesting than with him; I tend to see Caar as not very emotionally attentive or investing of his time in his family. How do codecil marriages work among Muuns? How does [Sina] feel about there being a second wife? How normalized is polygamy/polygyny in their society? Is there a stigma in some group or by aliens they work with about it, akin to Mormon sister wives--and do they expect internal issues between the wives to some extent? Do Muun women ever marry multiple men? Why (aside from the Doyleist explanation that Drew Karpyshyn, in mostly inverting the usual 2:1 gender ratio in Bane #3 is miles ahead of a lot of [esp pre-sequels] media, esp. the background characters) do we mostly see male Muuns--is it possible that gender [expression in public] works different in Muun society than it does among humans, perhaps like with Discworld dwarves, or tumblr speculations on Tolkien's dwarves?
I don't think Nome (Tenebrous) is especially romantic as a person, but how do he and Hego's mother, his acolyte, deal with their relationship and possible attractions, romantic or otherwise, between them? I once supposed that, had it not been for other social factors and the possibility of raising Hego with Caar, perhaps [Tema] would have liked to marry Tenebrous as much as a convenience between friends as anything. How equal do they see each other? (Do they both, incidentally, like math, which seems to be common to both their species?I do!) How did they meet? Could it have been through a common interest other than Sith stuff, or was it maybe over a Sith artifact? What if [Tema] was a Jedi reject, in the Agricorp or something? Give her a personality--what if she worked in a field (e.g. ~accounting or even something more unlikely for a Muun than that, for a mining/mining tool company) that turns out to have connections to events in Darth Plagueis and that was how she met Tenebrous?
(many of the above could also tie into the straight Caar/Hego's mother, and you may feel free to include baby-to-adolescent Hego in any of these fics too, provided he makes sense for the timeline!)
likes: what is the social significance of eating together in Muun culture, given they don't normally eat publicly?; I supposed that the Muun language might have T-V distinction; it would be neat to see that used.

So uh, I love a lot of renditions of Holmes. I tend to like Holmes/Watson/Morstan (...especially, for some reason, the ones tagged under the Downey films, which I haven't properly seen) if you care to work something analogous in, but I don't think I've met a Holmes adaptation I didn't at least like, and my appreciation stretches to some obscure things like They Might Be Giants (1971, a film that also references Don Quixote), and Soviet productions like My Dearly Beloved Detective and "Soviet" Holmes with Vasily Livanov as Holmes. In fact, my facecast for [male] Pellaeon is Soviet!Watson--Vitaly Solomin.
Heck, if the idea tempts you, I wouldn't mind some kind of holocomm patched into the holodeck crossover with Star Trek TNG and Data's version of Holmes (with, of course, Geordi as his Watson--or even switched for some reason if you wanted.)
I am really fond of trans man Pellaeon, and I don't mind trans Thrawn (or even cis swapped) either, if you'd like to incorporate that.
And, in fact, a Monstrous Regiment-inspired cis-swap was actually how that bizarre threesome came about. The dynamic there is, well, kind of "devotion to Emperor [and country]" taken a little differently than most people would interpret such a phrase. I could see that having Arthur/Lancelot/Guinevere (another favorite OT3) vibes if you wanted. Again, historical AUs including e.g. medieval AUs (or even if you wanted to take a meta level and uhhh production of eg Soviet Holmes?) are nice!

As for the Palpatine family... to me it's pretty clear Cosinga is an abusive father, at least towards [Sheev] and at minimum and especially emotionally, but possibly also physically. (actually DNW: sexual abuse of other parties). It ...kind of seems that his wife doesn't interfere in that. Is this because she's also abused? Because as Sheev grew into self-awareness he emulated his father towards her with a desire that she butt out of things? Is remaining married important to her for social or financial reasons? (...my pet fanon is, oddly, that it's awkwardly advantageous for her sex life--that in the [very backward] time or the social circles, a single or divorced woman having sex is frowned upon, but as awkward and even miserable as it gets with Cosinga and how people who know about the secrets see that, it's still possible in a married case to put on a polite fiction that it's all just with her husband) IS Sheev Cosinga's biological son? Cosinga is said to have mistresses--how does his wife feel about that? Does he adjust his actions/feelings to conform with some social expectations?
And abusive partners/parents aren't always cruel or mean; sometimes they're nice to the people they abuse, and sometimes it grows out of a cycle of abuse where an abused child grows up to be an abuser. ...I actually quite like, as messy as it is, the idea of their picking up polyamory with a third person or a couple (I think of them both as bi, although Cosinga is a lot more repressed about it, and possibly mostly straight and/or not that frequently attracted and usually carrying on for political reasons/physical pleasure more than attraction) , and that other party helping to balance out emotional health and the mutual conception of fidelity... (it's not healthy to expect a single person to meet all your emotional needs!) Also, maybe one or both of them isn't entirely cis but are really repressing that?
It also occurs to me (and October's almost here) that this theirs could be a fitting set up for a The Shining AU, especially the details in the King novel about Jack Torrance's family background...

Re Obi-Wan Kenobi:
I don't wholeheartedly love Obi-Wan, and it's mostly for how he deals with being asked to choose between principals I cannot believe are well-examined (indoctrinated from childhood!) and his best friend, who admittedly started committing atrocities and having major emotional instabilities... And then he lies to said friend's son...
Anyway, I don't really want things to immediately be sunshine and roses, but why would I, the devotee of Sith redemption, preclude redemption for Jedi? So I think, whether you put him on the desert of Tatooine, or the pleasantly planted world of Alderaan, he's going to have to confront some of his beliefs in addition to working through his grief. Y'know, if you want to put him in therapy, that's okay. I love canon-divergence, so it doesn't matter if he isn't going to want to lie to Luke or say his certain lines to Vader like in the OT...
(also I love my headcanon that Obi-Wan is aroace, and if you want to write trans-Obi-Wan, or trans Skywalker kids, or heck, trans members of the Lars or Organa couples, that would be fine!)

Jinn/Palpatine: ah, the slightly renegade Jedi, and the Sith pretending to be hugely invested in the Republic... One very light (my favorite always-Jedi, in fact, for all I admit he has erred, and his competition is his teacher Dooku), one dark. How does Jinn's upbringing among the Jedi compare to Palpatine's undesirable family environment? It's my belief that Jinn would be willing to leave the Jedi, especially if that meant following Dooku, in the interest of adhering more to what is Right. You could perhaps do a Palpatine redemption AU here? Oh and my own headcanon is they're both aroace so feel free to do that if you like. (obviously that doesn't equate to inability to love!)
DNW: Palpatine younger than Jinn (the canon ages are preposterous and unless you choose to outright mess with the chronology, perhaps even by invoking time travel, basing this on their actors' relative ages makes far far more visual sense)
Palpatine/Mace: by rights perhaps this should be Palpatine/the Republic!/Mace Windu, and I only became interested in this after reading a particular fic that plays up that aspect (at this point I will stick the link in my letter sometime soon). But of course... Palpatine is not exactly all that interested in the Republic except that he must pretend to be. There's also the Mace-getting-close-to-the-dark-side connection. Perhaps this could resemble Grantaire/Enjolras (Les Miserables), although there is some pretense from Palpatine's side about his interest in the republic, which either enormously complicates an Enjolras (Palpatine being beautiful and capable of being terrible, almost like Galadriel in the LOTR movies, is great, though) and is an additional layer of pretense for a Grantaire. Or Marius paired with either of them. Would much prefer lead-up to a ship type stuff here.

Here's your time to get creative about Sith parents, and, in one case, an actual Sith.
(if you are having trouble with names here, the ones I came up with and use are: Hego's mom: Tema; Caar's first wife: Sina; Mrs/Lady Palpatine: Amara (now in a separate request as I had too much to say for both to fit in one))
The idea for Caar/Caar's first wife/Hego's mom is kinda that his wives decide that a relationship between them is as or more interesting than with him; I tend to see Caar as not very emotionally attentive or investing of his time in his family. How do codecil marriages work among Muuns? How does [Sina] feel about there being a second wife? How normalized is polygamy/polygyny in their society? Is there a stigma in some group or by aliens they work with about it, akin to Mormon sister wives--and do they expect internal issues between the wives to some extent? Do Muun women ever marry multiple men? Why (aside from the Doyleist explanation that Drew Karpyshyn, in mostly inverting the usual 2:1 gender ratio in Bane #3 is miles ahead of a lot of [esp pre-sequels] media, esp. the background characters) do we mostly see male Muuns--is it possible that gender [expression in public] works different in Muun society than it does among humans, perhaps like with Discworld dwarves, or tumblr speculations on Tolkien's dwarves?
I don't think Nome (Tenebrous) is especially romantic as a person, but how do he and Hego's mother, his acolyte, deal with their relationship and possible attractions, romantic or otherwise, between them? I once supposed that, had it not been for other social factors and the possibility of raising Hego with Caar, perhaps [Tema] would have liked to marry Tenebrous as much as a convenience between friends as anything. How equal do they see each other? (Do they both, incidentally, like math, which seems to be common to both their species?
(many of the above could also tie into the straight Caar/Hego's mother, and you may feel free to include baby-to-adolescent Hego in any of these fics too, provided he makes sense for the timeline!)

So uh, I love a lot of renditions of Holmes. I tend to like Holmes/Watson/Morstan (...especially, for some reason, the ones tagged under the Downey films, which I haven't properly seen) if you care to work something analogous in, but I don't think I've met a Holmes adaptation I didn't at least like, and my appreciation stretches to some obscure things like They Might Be Giants (1971, a film that also references Don Quixote), and Soviet productions like My Dearly Beloved Detective and "Soviet" Holmes with Vasily Livanov as Holmes. In fact, my facecast for [male] Pellaeon is Soviet!Watson--Vitaly Solomin.
Heck, if the idea tempts you, I wouldn't mind some kind of holocomm patched into the holodeck crossover with Star Trek TNG and Data's version of Holmes (with, of course, Geordi as his Watson--or even switched for some reason if you wanted.)
I am really fond of trans man Pellaeon, and I don't mind trans Thrawn (or even cis swapped) either, if you'd like to incorporate that.
And, in fact, a Monstrous Regiment-inspired cis-swap was actually how that bizarre threesome came about. The dynamic there is, well, kind of "devotion to Emperor [and country]" taken a little differently than most people would interpret such a phrase. I could see that having Arthur/Lancelot/Guinevere (another favorite OT3) vibes if you wanted. Again, historical AUs including e.g. medieval AUs (or even if you wanted to take a meta level and uhhh production of eg Soviet Holmes?) are nice!

As for the Palpatine family... to me it's pretty clear Cosinga is an abusive father, at least towards [Sheev] and at minimum and especially emotionally, but possibly also physically. (actually DNW: sexual abuse of other parties). It ...kind of seems that his wife doesn't interfere in that. Is this because she's also abused? Because as Sheev grew into self-awareness he emulated his father towards her with a desire that she butt out of things? Is remaining married important to her for social or financial reasons? (...my pet fanon is, oddly, that it's awkwardly advantageous for her sex life--that in the [very backward] time or the social circles, a single or divorced woman having sex is frowned upon, but as awkward and even miserable as it gets with Cosinga and how people who know about the secrets see that, it's still possible in a married case to put on a polite fiction that it's all just with her husband) IS Sheev Cosinga's biological son? Cosinga is said to have mistresses--how does his wife feel about that? Does he adjust his actions/feelings to conform with some social expectations?
And abusive partners/parents aren't always cruel or mean; sometimes they're nice to the people they abuse, and sometimes it grows out of a cycle of abuse where an abused child grows up to be an abuser. ...I actually quite like, as messy as it is, the idea of their picking up polyamory with a third person or a couple (I think of them both as bi, although Cosinga is a lot more repressed about it, and possibly mostly straight and/or not that frequently attracted and usually carrying on for political reasons/physical pleasure more than attraction) , and that other party helping to balance out emotional health and the mutual conception of fidelity... (it's not healthy to expect a single person to meet all your emotional needs!) Also, maybe one or both of them isn't entirely cis but are really repressing that?
It also occurs to me (and October's almost here) that this theirs could be a fitting set up for a The Shining AU, especially the details in the King novel about Jack Torrance's family background...
