Rarity Requirement Rule Change

Hi, all!

After some deliberation on my part over the last year, I've decided to tighten the definition of rare pairs for this exchange. Instead of counting ship tags with fewer than 500 completed works in English of greater than 1000 words as was done last year, the new requirement will be 250 completed works in English of greater than 1000 words.

And remember: nominations start on September 15th. Keep an eye out starting early in the morning PST on that day. I can't wait to see what gets into the tag set.

As I'm checking over my list wrt this change, I think, "Oh, Padmé/Sabe is probably too big for this, I'll have to think of some other handmaidens ships (what a tragedy)" ...and then I actually look. 97 in total. 76 completed 1k+ English fics. HA. HAHA.

...there are some days where I just. Despair over how my fave ships are all rarepairs. And that the relative plenty of Padmé/Sabé in comparison to the others makes me think that it's actually a popular ship. ON THE OTHER HAND, more chances for Padmé/Sabé for me. ♥
